Located very close to Nantes station, the Amazonie and Attaléa towers will contain a total of 151 dwellings in three buildings. An iconic project in the city centre, since it is a mixed operation incorporating social housing and private sector dwellings. The construction project began in September 2013 and is due for completion in late 2015. The Legendre Construction Group, in charge of the structural work, asked Alphi to supply the floor formwork.
            The operation
The operation consists of
three buildings. The Attaléa Tower contains 39 rental dwellingsin
Building A, from 2-room to 5-room size, on 10 storeys, and 40 rental
dwellings in Building B, from 2-room to 4-room size, on 9 storeys. The
Amazonie Tower will contain 72 dwellings, including both social housing
and private sector dwellings, Building C on 19 storeys.
15 000 m² of TopDalle floors
Particularly
suitable for this type of structure, TopDalle formwork was able to
achieve the objectives set by the customer in terms of reducing
arduousness, cost reduction, and time saving.
Here is what Antoine Michel says about it:
"It
was our first joint project with Alphi, and it went very well. Our
discussions were constructive, the layout drawings were designed to be
as relevant as possible, and the deliveries were always compliant.
TopDalle
formwork gave us total satisfaction: quick assembly compared to the
traditional formwork we used before, smaller space between frames, less
handling, and a lighter product which also allows early finishing of
structural projects.
We have planned three or four new projects with TopDalle in Nantes in 2015, and a test with TopDalle Eco is scheduled."
